Holiday Cookies Max. 14 Participants Sat. Dec. 13 – 11-4pm
Let's get our Holiday Baking done together! This is a bit like an Old Fashioned Cookie Exchange, we do all the baking together. At the end of the class we divvy up the spoils! You will take home a really special assortment of holiday treats to share with friends and family. All the ingredients will be here waiting for you to and bake up a storm! Please email your favorite family recipes ahead of time to add to our choices of cookies to bake. We do all the shopping, planning and clean up, you take the credit at home! This is a 5 hour class. A light lunch will be served.

Winter squash abounds - so many colors, shapes and flavors. Come learn some delicious easy squash dishes with these squashes - and most importantly - which squash make the best pumpkin pie. Each participant gets a pie to-go. Please bring a pie plate.

Theme: Creative & Inspiring Cooking with Deberah! Max. 14 Participants Saturday, Jan 17 11-2pm
A fun and different class! Surprise ingredients, purchased with seasonality and local availability in mind. Learn to cook on the spur of the moment, no net, no recipes! Deberah shops at nearby farms and farmers markets ( in season) earlier in the day-- students arrive in the kitchen to find a bountiful table of fresh ingredients, awaiting their imagination and creativity. Using our well-stocked pantry, you will be amazed at what we create!

Great Ideas for Custom Private Classes!
Create or design your special theme Average Class Time for “Hands On” and “Demonstration Classes”: 2 1/2 to 3 1/2 hours.
Gather together with your closest friends and/or family for a group cooking celebration. We can assist you in choosing a theme and menu to suit the needs of your group. The Delaware Inn provides optional accomodations for up to 14 guests. The Inn requires a 2 night minimum for classes which include a Friday or Saturday overnight stay. Weekday classes do not require a two night stay.
Great things happen in the kitchen. These classes offer corporations and small businesses a positive, fun, relaxed and interactive environment. Build team & relationship skills, increase communication all through an amazing and savory experience!
For these and all Cooking Retreats we can fashion the entire weekend, focusing on a theme for the weekend. Perhaps you would like to perfect the art of cooking fish. Grilling fillets or a whole fish, pan sautéing, poached fish, picnic lobster salad or fish “En Papillote”. Or maybe you would like to focus the weekend on Mediterranean Cooking or Pastry Making. Whatever your desire, we will tailor the weekend especially for you and your guests.
Reservations/Payments: Payment in full is required to confirm your reservation in a class. For reservations, you may call us with credit card information, make payments online, or mail a check. If you mail a check, email or call us and let us know so that we will save a spot for you while your payment is in transit.
Classes may be cancelled due to insufficient enrollment. If we have to cancel a class we will contact you. You will be given the choice of transferring your class fee to any available future class or receive a full refund!
You will be notified of Classes cancelled due to illness of instructors or inclement weather. A full credit for another class or a full refund will be given.
Cancellation Policy*: Deposits/payments will be refunded when cancellation notice is received at least 14 days prior to reservation date. A $25 per person processing fee will be charged for refund transactions. For cancellations received 13 days or less prior to reservation date, no refund will be available unless we are able to rebook your lodging space and or class, in which case, a full refund will be issued, less the processing fee.
Cancellation for Special Events/Private Group Bookings: Special Events require 30 day cancellation notice. A full refund, less 15% cancellation fee, will be issued with a 30 day notice. 50% will be returned from 29 days to 14 days in advance; 13 days or less, no refund will be issued. However, if we are able to rebook an event with another party for the same date, a credit towards another event or events on another date will be issued.
*PLEASE NOTE: Our cancellation policy applies to payment with gift certificates and certificates obtained from charity events. Please notify us when making a reservation using a gift certificate or donated certificate, so that we can make a note and verify. Certificates must be presented to us on the class date. Any additional fees not covered by certificate will be due on the class date by credit card or cash.
